Interesting layers of tastes, smooth and thick brew. Wet leaves have an interesting scent of rich lamb broth. The first brew is thick and sweet, with notes of melon juice, lemon custard, and an elusive fruit note. The second brew is quite different and hits with the rich salty broth note that the smell of wet leaves had promised.
There is also some rock minerality, but no astringency; it's a very smooth experience, a thick, viscous drink. After several brews the tea still gives a rich liquor that warms and mellows the body. A very nice tea ! I must say that around the sixth brew, I got distracted and I let the tea oversteep for quite a long time ; the resulting liquor was a dark amber colour and the taste was still yummy, absolutely not bitter or overly astringent, which is remarkable. Definitely a very forgiving tea.
